These pieces were created for my family’s Ofrenda, an Ofrenda is a personalized home offering created to honor deceased loved ones during Día de los Muertos. Food is placed out to entice, honor, and nourish the souls of deceased loved ones returning to visit. It acts as a welcome offering, providing sustenance after their long journey. They were sculpted using polymer clay and painted with acrylic, these miniatures are about 2 inches tall and wide.
